A murdered driver crashed his vehicle in the Florence area of unincorporated South Los Angeles.
The killing was reported at 1:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Nadeau Street, according to Deputy Charles Moore of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Deputies were called to the scene on a report of a single-vehicle traffic collision, Moore said. They found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
A possible motive for the shooting and suspect information were not available.
It wasn’t clear if the victim was shot to death while driving his vehicle.
