One person was killed and two others were injured Wednesday in a crash involving several big rigs in Blythe.
The crash, which involved at least three big rigs, was reported about 8:15 a.m. on westbound Interstate 10 near Neighbours Boulevard.
The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert, with all westbound lanes shut down near the crash scene. Traffic was being diverted off the freeway at Neighbours Boulevard and back onto Interstate 10 at Mesa Drive, according to the CHP.
About 75 gallons of diesel and engine oil spilled onto the shoulder of the freeway, the CHP reported.
