A man in his 20s was stabbed in an alley early Thursday morning in Paramount where it borders Downey, but he’s expected to survive.
Few details were yet available.
The stabbing was reported just after midnight in the 8100 block of Gardendale Street, according to officials at the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station.
The man suffered superficial stab wounds and was taken to a hospital in stable condition, authorities said.
A description of the suspect was not immediately available.
There was no word of why the victim and his attacker were in the alley at that hour, nor was there any speculation about a possible motive.
