An investigation was underway Wednesday into the fatal shooting of a 37-year-old man in Moreno Valley.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, no suspects have been identified in the attack Sunday afternoon that claimed the life of Rolando Aguayo.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Ben Ramirez said deputies received reports of a man down shortly after 4 that afternoon in the 12700 block of Foxdale Drive, near Gamma Street, and arrived to find Aguayo outside a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene minutes later.
Ramirez said detectives were working to develop leads in the case.
