
A man was shot and killed in Norwalk, and sheriff’s deputies say the shooting was gang related.
It occurred just before 9 p.m. Saturday on the 14400 block of Pioneer Boulevard, according to Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Deputies responded to a call about an “assault with a deadly weapon/gunshot victim down” and found the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He had been in the parking lot behind a business on Pioneer when he was approached by several men who opened fire following a short conversation.
The suspects fled and are still at large and no weapon was recovered.
The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
