Glendale Police asked for the public’s help Monday to find a man last seen leaving a convalescent home in a wheelchair and getting onto a bus.
Melvin Augustus Jones, 72, was seen at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Royal Palms Convalescent Home at 630 West Broadway, Glendale Police Sgt. B. Bateman said.
Jones was a recent arrival at the home, Bateman said.
He is described as black, 6-feet-2 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue-green jacket and jeans, police said.
Anyone with information on Jones’ whereabouts was asked to call Glendale police at (818) 548-4911, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
