A death at a Cerritos senior citizens community was ruled a suicide, the coroner’s office said Wednesday.
It was reported at 11 p.m. Sunday in the 19100 block of Pearl Court, said Lt. Brian Bishop of the Cerritos Sheriff’s Station.
A news videographer at the scene said the death was in the Emerald Villas, which was Cerritos’ first affordable living senior housing community, according to the city’s website.
