A man was shot and wounded in the leg as he drove his car through an intersection where a shooting was taking place Saturday morning in South Los Angeles, a police sergeant said.
The bullet passed through the car door and hit him in his leg. The wounded man was transported to a hospital for treatment. Rodgers said he was last reported in stable condition.
No other victims were reported in the shooting, he said.
Police have no suspect description at this time and it’s unknown whether the shooting was gang-related.
