A man was shot to death Monday in an unincorporated area bordering Whittier, authorities said.
It happened about 12 a.m. in the 10700 block of Balfour Street, said Deputy Charles Moore of the LA Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Homicide detectives were investigating, he said. No further information was immediately available.
