Police Thursday released a sketch of a man who was interrupted by a homeowner during a burglary in Pasadena.
The resident, who returned about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday to a home in the 200 block of South Carolina Avenue, heard voices upstairs, leading him to believe more than one suspect was involved, according to Pasadena police Lt. John Luna.
“The suspect appears to have entered the residence through an unlocked window,” Luna said. “The resident was not injured during the burglary. The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is being released at this time.”
The suspect depicted in the sketch is black, 20-30 years old, 6 feet 1 inch tall with an athletic build, short black “buzzcut” hair and brown eyes. He was reported to have “a clean appearance,” Luna said.
Anyone with information that could help investigators identify the suspect was urged to call (626) 744-7088 to speak with Pasadena police Detective Chris Burchett or the department’s main number, (626) 744-4241.
Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers by calling (800) 222-TIPS.
