A man was shot and killed in the unincorporated Willowbrook area, authorities said Sunday
It was reported just after 7 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Main and 127th streets, Deputy Joana Warren of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
The victim was stopped in his vehicle along the curb when the suspect approached the vehicle and fired several shots, said Deputy Charles Moore of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The victim was struck at least one time in the body.
The man was pronounced dead at a hospital, Warren said.
