
Seven motorists were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at an overnight sobriety/driver’s license checkpoint in Pomona, police said Saturday.
Also, 27 motorists were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or with a suspended or revoked license, the Pomona Police Department reported.
The checkpoint on Holt Avenue at Hershey Street began at 9 p.m. Friday and ended Saturday at 3 a.m.
Police said 1,144 vehicles were screened at the checkpoint.
