Firefighters Saturday quickly put out a contents fire on the second floor of a two-story home in the West Adams district.
Firefighters were dispatched at 11:06 a.m. to the 2600 block of South Kenwood Avenue in response to a report of fire showing from the second floor of a two-story structure, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There was no extension into the structure and 12 firefighters quickly handled the fire, Stewart said. No injuries were reported.
