A late-night fire razed a Moreno Valley home, causing $200,000 in damages but no injuries, fire officials said Thursday.
The fire was reported at 10:51 p.m. Wednesday in the 22000 block of Cottonwood Avenue, said April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the flames had fully engulfed the home and had spread to surrounding vegetation, she said.
Crews managed to contain the fire in under an hour.
There was no word on what sparked the fire.
