The coroner Sunday released the name of a man found shot to death in the hallway of an apartment complex in Panorama City.

He was Oscar Molina, 34, of Panorama City, the coroner’s office said.

The victim now identified as Molina had just left his unit when he was shot several times by unknown suspects, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Media Relations Section.

Officers dispatched at 3:58 a.m. to the 9000 block of Tobias Avenue found the victim in a hallway suffering from several gunshot wounds, Eisenman said.
