
Overnight directional closures of the Santa Ana (5) Freeway will continue Monday evening and run through Friday in the Norwalk area.
All northbound lanes will be closed between 11:59 p.m. and 5 a.m. Tuesday morning between Norwalk Boulevard and the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway. Traffic will be taken off at Norwalk Boulevard.
The closure will repeat beginning 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
On Wednesday and Thursday, all southbound lanes will be closed from the 605 Freeway to Norwalk Boulevard between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning. The northbound 605 connector ramp to the southbound 5 Freeway will be closed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on those days, as will the southbound 605 connector ramp to the southbound 5 Freeway, according to Caltrans.
All work is expected to be completed by 5 a.m. Friday.
The closures are subject to change and weather permitting, according to Caltrans.
Detours with signs will be in place and Caltrans will provide notification of any changes.
