
A first-alarm fire damaged three homes and a couple of RVs early Wednesday morning in the Florence area abutting South Los Angeles.
The non-injury fire was reported at 11:43 p.m. Tuesday at 1423 E. 58th Place, authorities said.
The fire started at one single-story home and spread to two homes, a garage, two RVs and two vehicles, said a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
The Los Angeles Fire Department assisted in the fight, the dispatcher said.
The blaze was knocked down about 12:15 a.m.
About 40 firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded. It wasn’t immediately clear how many LAFD firefighters assisted.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
