The coroner’s office Sunday releaesed the names of a man and a woman who authorities believed here killed during murder- suicide in Westlake Village.
The couple were identified as Sam Lai Chiashiang, 75, and Caroline Minling Chiashiang, 73, according to Lt. Rudy Molano of the coroner’s office.
Deputies responded at 5:21 p.m. Friday to the 31400 block of Glenbridge Road to conduct a welfare check and found a man and a woman dead from gunshot wounds to their upper bodies, Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.

“Preliminary investigation has revealed that the male suspect shot the female,” Schrader said.
The handgun used in the shootings was recovered at the scene, she said.
