A young man from Ventura County found dead near the Venice Beach Boardwalk may have suffered a drug overdose, the coroner’s office reported Thursday.
The body was discovered around 5 a.m. Wednesday on the Ocean Front Walk near Ozone Court, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department.
An autopsy was pending to confirm the cause of death of Jordan Gross, 22, of Ojai, but drugs were suspected, according to the coroner.
