A motorcyclist was killed Friday in a crash on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in the Granada Hills area.
The crash occurred about 5 a.m. on the westbound freeway near Balboa Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The man, in his 50s, died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. Authorities withheld his name, pending family notification.
Three westbound lanes were blocked while an investigation was conducted into the crash.
