
A “credible” bomb threat at Pierce College in Woodland Hills ended Wednesday with the arrest of one man.
Evening classes were canceled as of 5 p.m. at the school, south of Victory Boulevard at Winnetka Avenue.
“Pierce College is safe, there is no threat,” said sheriffs Deputy Juanita Navarro. “The LAPD has arrested a bomb suspect.”
Los Angeles police were not available for comment.
Pierce College President Kathleen Burke-Kelly said classes would resume on the normal schedule Thursday.
Pierce College has 22,000 students enrolled in its two-year-degree and continuing education classes.
