At least one person was killed when a box truck crashed and flipped over an off-ramp on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Diamond Bar Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash took place about 5:40 a.m. on the Grand Avenue off-ramp, the CHP reported. The yellow box truck was trying to exit the freeway when the crash happened.

It’s unclear at this point if other vehicles were involved in the crash. There’s no word yet concerning the age or gender of the victim or if other people were injured.

The CHP closed the off-ramp and issued a SigAlert at 6 a.m.
