Sheriff’s detectives sought the public’s help Sunday to locate a missing 17-year-old diabetic from East Los Angeles.
Angel Denis was last seen leaving his home about 5 p.m. Saturday in the 4500 block of Whittier Boulevard, following an argument with his family, according to sheriff’s Deputy Kimberly Alexander.

Denis is Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds, Alexander said. He has black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a green hat.
Denis needs insulin shots and his family is worried about his health, Alexander said.
