Police asked for the public’s help Sunday to find a possibly suicidal man who went missing in La Verne.
On Saturday, 40-year-old Daniel Oliver Kwok, who is a transient, sent a text message to his family that he wanted to commit suicide, La Verne police said. His whereabouts at the time were unknown.
Kwok is Asian, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 130 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair, police said. He drives a white Nissan Versa or Sentra and has been known to frequent the Azusa Canyon area.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call 911 or the La Verne police at (909) 596-1913.
