Authorities Monday identified a man who detectives say was fatally stabbed during a fight with a fellow employee at a Domino’s Pizza franchise in La Puente.
Daniel Sanchez, 20, of La Puente died at a hospital following his injury, which occurred about 6 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of North Hacienda Boulevard, the coroner’s office reported.
A knife was recovered and a suspect was detained, pending further investigation, said Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. Other information was not released, including whether the suspect had been arrested.
