A man died from wounds suffered in a Hyde Park shooting, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred about 10:15 p.m. Sunday in the 6000 block of West Boulevard, said Lt. Thomas Bojorquez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station.
The man, who was in his 20s or 30s, was struck in the upper body and taken to a hospital in serious condition, Bojorquez said. He later died from his wounds.
Details about the shooting and suspect or suspects were not available because “all potential witnesses are uncooperative,” he said.
The shooting was likely gang-related, Bojorquez said.
Detectives conducted an on-scene investigation, he said.
