Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was fatally shot in Hyde Park.

The crime occurred about 10:15 p.m. Sunday in the 6000 block of West Boulevard, said Lt. Thomas Bojorquez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Station.

Deric Rashawn Moore, 32, died at a hospital, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office reported. His hometown was not known.

The shooting was likely gang-related, Bojorquez said. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call (877) LAPD-247.
