A 46-year-old woman was found dead in a parking lot in an industrial area of Santa Fe Springs.
The body of the woman — identified by the coroner’s office as Marisol Santana, whose place of residence was not immediately available Tuesday — was discovered in the 13500 block of Rosecrans Avenue about 1:15 a.m. by a passerby who notified authorities, said Whittier police Officer John Scoggins, whose department patrols Santa Fe Springs.
An autopsy was pending to determine the cause of death.
