A teenage boy was killed and several other people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Tustin Friday.

The crash occurred at about 2:50 p.m. in the 16000 block of Legacy Road, across from the Amalfi Apartment complex, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz said.

Four males and three females were in the Infiniti M37 at the time of the accident, Kurtz said. Three of the male victims are 17 years old, two of the girls are 17 and another victim is a 20-year-old woman, Kurtz said.

The victim who died is a male in his teens, Kurtz said.

According to Tustin police Lt. Robert Wright, the Infiniti had been westbound on Legacy Road “when it veered off the roadway and collided with a cement post.”

The vehicle then spun out of control and slammed into a moving van that was legally parked along the eastbound side of the road, Wright said.

“The collision with the moving van caused the Infiniti to roll over,” he said.

The injured victims were taken to hospitals, Wright said, but their conditions were not immediately available.

The vehicle involved has seating for up to five people.
