A motorist was killed early Wednesday morning in a fiery crash in Fullerton, police said.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. near the area of Harbor and Brea boulevards.
The driver crashed into businesses under construction in the area before the vehicle caught fire, according to reports from the scene. The driver was pronounced dead.
Police have shut down traffic on southbound Harbor Boulevard, from Valencia Mesa to Valley View Drive, as well as southbound Brea Boulevard from Lemon Street to Harbor Boulevard, and northbound Harbor Boulevard at Valley View Drive until at least 11:30 a.m.
Police told reporters at the scene that speed may have been a factor in the crash. More information on the crash is expected to be released later Wednesday.
