A woman who was a passenger in a ride-sharing vehicle has died after a two-car crash in Carson, and authorities asked Thursday for witnesses to the accident to come forward.
The woman and a man were in gray 2016 Toyota Prius and both suffered critical injuries in a collision with a 2008 black Nissan 350Z at the intersection of Central Avenue and University Drive on Friday, said Detective Geoff Lidman of the Sheriff’s Carson Station. A woman in the Nissan also suffered critical injuries, but a man who was in the car was not hurt, Lidman said.
The woman who was in the Prius died Monday, according to Lidman.
Because of inconsistent statements from people in one of the cars and no witnesses at the time of the crash, detectives have asked for the public’s help, said Lidman.
Anyone with information about the crash is urged to call Detective Lidman at (310)-847-8380.
