Seven people — five males and two females — were taken to area hospitals Sunday following a shooting at a house party in North Hollywood, but none were believed to have life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Five of those transported had been shot and two others suffered non-gunshot injuries, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
All were listed in stable condition, but one woman was reportedly undergoing surgery, police said.
Los Angeles police initially responded to reports of a loud party, but heard multiple shots fired as they approached, and saw several people running from the home, officers told reporters at the scene.
No suspect is in custody and officers are still at the scene interviewing witnesses.
