A person was stabbed in Hollywood Thursday morning and police are looking for the attacker.
It happened on Franklin Avenue near Gower Street around 2 a.m., according to Officer Christopher No with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the victim, No said, but the victim was a transgender woman according to broadcast reports.
Police could not confirm broadcast reports that a hate crime investigation is underway.
