A man was killed and two other people hurt Friday when the vehicle they were riding in crashed into a tree in Santa Ana.
Police responded to the 2600 block of West MacArthur Boulevard around 12:30 a.m., according to Cmdr. M. Clayborn of the Santa Ana Police Department.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and two passengers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, he said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
