Police and firefighters responding to a call of a vehicle crashing into a building Monday morning in San Pedro found a woman who had been shot to death inside the vehicle, authorities said.
The crash was reported at about 2:30 a.m. at 783 West Sepulveda St., Sgt. J. Talmage of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Station said.
Arriving officers and firefighters found only the fatally wounded woman inside the car, he said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect information was available. The victim’s name was not released pending family notification.
