A child was listed in critical condition Thursday after suffering an unknown injury.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives were sent to the 1100 block of East Avenue K in Lancaster around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday to investigate the circumstances surrounding the boy’s injury, said Deputy Trina Schraeder with the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The boy, who’s reported to be 10, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, she said.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
