Two men remain hospitalized in Long Beach following a shooting officers believe is gang-related, police said Sunday.

The shooting was reported at 7:40 p.m. Saturday on the 1400 block of 20th Street.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the upper torso, and he was transported to a hospital by paramedics, according to Sgt, James Richardson of the Long Beach Police Department.

Police later found a second victim who had been taken to a friend’s home on the 1600 block of Temple Avenue. They determined that man had also been shot in the upper torso and he too was transported to a hospital.

Both men are listed in stable condition.

The shooting remains under investigation.
