
One person was killed in a deputy-involved shooting in Pico Rivera Thursday morning.
The shooting occurred about 2 a.m. in the 7100 block of Pico Vista Road, according to Deputy Dangelo Robinson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
ABC7 reported deputies were in pursuit of the suspect when the driver crashed and shots were fired by deputies at the suspect’s vehicle.
The driver fled on foot and a second deputy-involved shooting occurred a few blocks from the site of the crash, ABC7 said.
The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene, Robinson said.
No deputies were injured.
