Pasadena police officers will be deployed at various locations throughout the city Friday looking for dangerous drivers in an effort to reduce the number of serious injuries and fatalities as a result of collisions in the city.
Officers will be looking for violations including, but not limited to, speeding and motorists running red lights, according to a statement from the Pasadena Police Department.
Violators will be ticketed and/or educated on the safety concerns associated with the violation, the statement said.
Police said the need for driver education and enforcement is constantly on the rise due to an increase in the amount of traffic in the city.
