Firefighters made quick work Wednesday morning of a fire in vacant building in Santa Ana.
Crews were called about 1:40 a.m. to the building in the 200 block of South Elk Lane, according to a statement from the Orange County Fire Authority.
A knockdown was declared at 2:15 a.m., the statement said.
Firefighters searched the building and confirmed no victims were inside, authorities said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
