A man was sentenced Wednesday to 10 years in prison for sexually assaulting four women and a 16-year-old girl in separate crimes dating back a decade in Orange County.
Christopher Scott White on Aug. 29 accepted a plea deal from Orange County Superior Court Judge Robert Fitzgerald in which the defendant admitted three felony counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious victim and one count each of rape and rape of an unconscious victim.
White, 29, was given credit for 422 days served behind bars and Fitzgerald ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Two of the victims, then both 19 years old, were assaulted in January 2011. One of the young women said she was assaulted after she fell asleep at her boyfriend’s home in Buena Park and the other said she was at a house party in Westminster when she fell asleep and woke up with White on top of her, according to court records.
Another victim, then 16, said she dated White in high school and that he raped her at her grandparents’ house in Westminster on St. Patrick’s Day in 2007.
A then-21-year-old victim said White was a “close” friend of her boyfriend’s and would crash at her Westminster residence sometimes. She said she knew him for about two years.
The victim said she got drunk at a party in July 2015 and passed out, but after White put her in a shower, she woke up to the defendant sexually assaulting her, according to court records. Her boyfriend came home and caught White in the act.
Another alleged victim, who White was not charged with attacking, told investigators that when she was 16, she fell asleep at a party and woke up to him sexually assaulting her, according to testimony at his preliminary hearing.
