Authorities searched Thursday for a 16-year-old diabetic boy who went missing in Altadena and needs his medication.
Dejuan Rhodes was last seen about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at his group home in the 2900 block of El Nido Drive, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Rhodes is black, 5 feet 8, about 140 pounds, withs brown eyes and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue shorts.
“He is diabetic — insulin dependent — and requires additional medication,” according to a sheriff’s statement. “His family and caregivers have not seen or heard from him. They are very concerned and asking for the public’s help in locating him.”
