A rollover crash between two vehicles left a 33-year-old woman dead and her husband and child injured, authorities said.
It happened about 5:15 p.m. p.m. near the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Jamboree Road, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Paul Holaday told City News Service.
The vehicle that rolled over, a Mercedes Benz SUV, carried the family that was injured, Holaday said.
Vaishali Bohara was transferred to a trauma center in extremely critical condition and later died at the hospital, Holaday and Irvine Officer Kim Mohr said.
The other two occupants, Bohara’s husband and their child, were hospitalized in moderate condition, Holaday said.
The people in the second vehicle, a woman and two children, were uninjured and did not flee the scene, Mohr said.
Anyone with information on this crash was asked to call the Irvine Police’s Major Accident Investigation Team at (949) 724-7000.
