An 82-year-old woman who suffers from dementia was missing in Carson Tuesday and authorities said she could be headed for Mexico.
Fedelina Castillo Hernandez was last seen about 6 a.m. Monday at her home in the 500 block of East Lomita Boulevard, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Hernandez is Hispanic, 4-feet-9 and weighs 136 pounds. She has straight brown hair and brown eyes, Koerner said. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark blue shorts, he said.
Hernandez suffers from dementia and it was believed that she could be on her way to Mexico, Koerner said.
