Two people were killed Saturday morning in a collision on the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in Palmdale.
Officers were called about 5:10 a.m. to the scene near the Rancho Vista Boulevard exit, according to Officer Tony Polizzi of the California Highway Patrol.
Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, Polizzi said.
Details of the what led to the crash were unknown, he said.
The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway will be closed for the next six hours while detectives investigate the crash, Polizzi said.
