Police asked the public for help identifying a woman believed in her 70s found walking alone Sunday in the Westlake area of Los Angeles.

The woman was found at 2:30 p.m. Saturday near the area of Rampart Street and Wilshire Boulevard, Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section said.

She appears to suffer from dementia and does not communicate well, Im said.

The woman is described as 70 to 75 years-old, 4 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes, gray hair and wearing a green and blue dress and gray shoes with a black bow.

Anyone with information about the woman’s identity was asked to call the Rampart Station watch commander at (213) 484-3400 or (87) LAPD-24-7. Anonymous tips may be called in to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477).
