Police in Riverside released a photo Thursday of one of two men suspected of being involved in a possible kidnapping in a Starbucks parking lot last month.

Officers responded at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 26 to a shopping center on the corner of Arlington and Brockton avenues, according to Officer Ryan Railsback of the Riverside Police Department.

At least one witness told police that a young man who appeared to be about 18 years old jumped out of a parked van and was followed by two other men who forcibly put him back into the vehicle, Railsback said.

The suspects were described as Hispanic men who were in a late-model silver minivan, possibly a Dodge or Chrysler. One of these suspects was caught on a surveillance video and described as having longer hair, a beard, heavy build, and wearing a red shirt and dark pants, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident was asked to call Detective Brett Stennett at (951) 826-5388 or Detective Dave Riedeman at (951) 353-7104.
