Authorities asked for the public’s help Saturday in locating a 10-year-old boy who ran away from a group home in the East Rancho Dominguez neighborhood of Compton.
John Jack Cavallero was last seen on Myrrh Street and Lime Avenue at 2:40 p.m. Friday, according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Cavallero is white, 4 feet 5 to 4 feet 8 and weighs 90 pouinds with blond hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket with blue sleeves, green basketball shorts and camouflage shoes, Crowder said.
He has no known relatives or friends in the area and his caregivers are concerned, Crowder said.
