A man was killed Saturday and another man was wounded in a shooting in the parking lot of a Glendale banquet hall, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 8:22 p.m. in the 6400 block of San Fernando Road, Glendale police Sgt. Dan Suttles said.
One man pronounced dead at the scene and the other man was taken to a hospital with a graze wound, Suttles said. Both victims were in their late 40s or early 50s.
A handgun was used in the shooting, he said. At least one suspect fled the scene in a dark SUV, possibly a Dodge.
