Detectives are asking the public for help locating an 85-year-old man with dementia reported missing in Carson.
Winfred “Fred” Miles Hawkins was last seen about 9 a.m. Sunday at his home in the 1100 block of East Jay Street, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Hawkins is white, 5 feet 8, with gray hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black flannel shirt, blue jeans, black boots, a light colored beanie and a silver watch, Koerner said. He has a tattoo of an anchor on his right forearm.
